Magdy S. Elwany, Founder and CEO/President
Magdy has over 20 years experience in electrical engineering with special expertise in digital design. Prior to M&A, Magdy's work experience included Flexible Computer, Inc., Unisystems International, Singer Enterprises and Texas Instruments.
Magdy has a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE), from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), from Alexandria University in Alexandria, Egypt.
Val Overbey, Chief Technology Officer
Val has 25 years of experience in software from assembly language to C and 20 years of experience in the UNIX operating system and its variants. He has been a leader in the development of Web-based infrastructure for the education marketplace. Having joined M&A in 1993, he is responsible for testing all systems and components for compatibility, interoperability and reliability.
Donna Shepard, Senior Vice President EDU Sales, Purchase and Operations
Donna has 25 years experience in computer sales, with over 13 years dedicated to the K-12 and higher education markets. After attending the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas, Donna joined M&A Technology, where she has been instrumental in developing the K-12 Higher Education Project Management model. Donna is responsible for the Sales and Operations departments for M&A Technology, Inc.
Shahab Azmoudeh, Senior Vice President of OEM Sales, Technical Services and Engineering
Shahab Azmoudeh comes to M&A with over 25 years experience in software development, networking and various management positions. Prior to M&A, Shahab's work experience included positions with Wind River Systems, Schlumberger, Texas Instruments and Atari. Shahab has a Bachelor of Science from The American University's Physics Department in Washington DC as well as several industry certifications.
Jihad Jubran, Vice President of e-Commerce Sales
Jihad comes to M&A with 13 years experience in the computer industry. He held several leadership positions at CompUSA and CompuCom. Most recently Jihad worked at CompUSA as director of sales and operations at the corporate headquarters. He has extensive experience in technology sales and support with strong focus on customer service. Jihad graduated from Washington State University in 1993 with a Ph.D. in Engineering Mechanics.
Tom Garrett, Vice President of MIS and Accounting
Tom has 35 years of experience in Accounting and 30 years MIS. He has held senior management positions with local and international computer and manufacturing companies. Prior to joining M&A Technologies he owned and operated T.M. Garrett Enterprises, Inc. an integrated accounting and manufacturing software consulting firm for 14 years of which 5 years were in the Republic of South Africa and 9 years in the United States. |
